“Thank you Matteo. My apologies at not reaching out sooner to you about our trip. The trip was lovely and your hotel recommendations were perfect. All the guides and drivers were very friendly and experienced. Our guide during the Pathway of the Gods hike (I am sorry his name escapes me), was truly a gem. He really made the trip special as he allowed us a unique experience by inviting to stop at his vineyard on our hike up. It really was amazing and he is such a lovely person. Our favourite restaurant was the RISTORANTE ROSCIOLI in Rome — the quality of ingredients was amazing.
The phone suggestion was a good idea -as I omitted printing a voucher and you had included on the phone—so thank you.
Just a note on the car rental was a bit challenging —as we when got to Budget -they said that there was no Alfa Romeo’s available and they were upgrading us. It turned out to be a stationwagon (manual). We kept saying we didn’t want it and wanted to go to a smaller car, they said there was no car available and the Alpha Romeos were reserved for there ‘preferred’ customers. It definitely was not fun to drive a manual station wagon on the Amalfi Coast —0-so we were happy to give ti up.
All in all, a great trip and thank you for the wine refund.
