We are so fortunate to have teamed with Matteo Della Grazia and FuorlTinerario to plan our vacation to Italy!
When looking for vacation planning support, we knew we wanted to visit Italy and hoped our daily experiences could be customized to include activities we chose in a relatively private tour environment.
After a brief series of vacation planning phone calls and in large part, due to the expert recommendations Matteo provided, we chose to visit the Amalfi Coast region for our 8 day trip.
Matteo then developed the most amazing itinerary that included every one of the activities and locations that we had discussed.
Based in Sorrento at the Grand Hotel Royal, which may be one of the most beautiful, picturesque properties you could imagine, we settled into a wonderful rhythm of private, daily excursions, accompanied by the most knowledgeable and friendly drivers/guides to some of the most beautiful and interesting places we’ve ever experienced.
It’s one thing to visit the Amalfi Coast area, but quite another to experience it as a couple, unencumbered by larger crowds and tour groups as we enjoyed every minute of the customized itinerary Matteo had developed.
It’s difficult to name our favorite parts of the trip – the days can only be described as better and best! We really enjoyed our private charter to Capri, our personal tour guide in Pompeii, the amazing scenery and experience in Amalfi, Positano and Ravello and that wonderful day we spent with Nonna Ida at her villa and cooking school.
The itinerary and arrangements were delivered exactly as promised – we are so grateful for the level of attention and support extended by the drivers, tour guides, boat captains and hotel associates. It is clear that Matteo’s team works at a significantly higher level on every aspect of Customer Satisfaction – we could not have been happier with the level of service we experienced throughout our vacation.
You’d think the service I’ve described would be enough….but every day, we received a quick call from Matteo, asking how our day went, if there was anything he could do for us…..Perfect.
It’s hard to imagine having a bad time anywhere in Italy. For one week we were able to experience all that’s good about Italy…the culture, history, food, wine and some of the most warm and friendly people you’ll ever meet.
