We had THE time of our lives and didn’t want to leave. Your itinerary for us was perfect and our only real complaint is that we wished we had had more time in each city! We LOVED it ALL!
First, as I think you know, a trip to Italy was my absolute #1 dream vacation! Ken and I both have health problems and our sons helped give us this trip as a gift. We had considered other tour companies including group tours. However, we couldn’t be happier that we went with your company as we felt like we were treated like Royalty! It was truly a once in a lifetime luxury dream vacation! You have spoiled us and we won’t want to travel any other way!
There are no words that can describe THE most incredible – most amazing trip of a lifetime that we have EVER taken in our lives to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. And we owe it ALL to our travel agent Matteo Della Grazia with FUORITINERARIO Discovery Your Italy.
Matteo was instrumental in putting together the perfect itinerary for our two weeks tour of Italy. We told him what we had in mind, and he came up with several choices and things we never thought of to make the trip perfect. Our charming and luxury B&B’s and hotel rooms were in perfect locations with THE best owners and extraordinary accommodations and upgrades. We had private tours with exceptional tour guides that custom made our tours and made changes according to our desires. We had private drivers that also went out of their way to go on alternate routes so that we could see sites not on our tour when there was extra time. One driver climbed a gate just to take a photo for us! Another tour guide insisted on carrying my bag after doing some shopping during our tour! And yet another made a special trip back to our hotel to return one of my items left in his car. Language was not a problem because all spoke perfect English.
Matteo provided us with a personal cell phone so that he could stay in touch with us during our tour of Italy in case we needed help or in case he needed to reach us to make sure everything was going well. This was very comforting knowing we had a friend and someone in the country we were visiting who knew all the ins and outs there to help us at any time. This was also key in making our decision to go with a company in Italy.
We had thought about doing other tours including a Disney tour of Italy, but none compared to the personal most extraordinary trip of a lifetime as this company did! We were treated like royalty which blew us away! We have traveled with other tour companies in other countries. No comparison! Matteo made this trip magical! I was in awe and in tears! I can’t say enough about this company except they are THE BEST! They are 100% THE BEST anywhere around. Thank you Matteo for all you did to make this trip an absolute DREAM COME TRUE!!! We will be back! We LOVE Italy!
It is difficult to list the most enjoyable and memorable parts of the trip. They were each magical and memorable in different ways! However, if I must choose, I loved our stay in San Gimignano at Fattoria San Donato! It was like stepping back in time into a fairy tale farmhouse and medieval village. It was absolutely beautiful. But best of all were the owners who welcomed us like family. This too was also on my “wishlist”. It was a magical place – cooking class – wine tastings -amazing food – beautiful rooms, courtyards, all in stone with wine bottles, and huge old wine caskets used as tabletops. Everywhere you turned, there was one special courtyard and gardens after another with flowers everywhere! The grounds had panoramic views of the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany. This is one place I definitely WILL be going back to. It felt like home! I miss you all already!
Next trip to Italy without a doubt, I would spend more time in each location. Perhaps additional days in Positano or Capri. Just wanted enough time to do and see it all. But I would also include one day of rest in between.
All in all, Matteo, it was a magnificent once in a lifetime dream vacation that we will never forget! We appreciate every attention to detail and staying connected to us throughout our trip to make us feel secure. That was very important to us. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer or have more days to do nothing in-between cities, just to rest. Although I’m sure we would find something we would want to do!“
