We had an amazing trip!! The guides were all excellent! The highlight was the hike up Etna. The views and experience were incredible and then one of the guides pulled out a pan of his mother’s egg plant Parmesan! It is one of our best travel experiences ever! We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Il Ridotto, and excellent meal and service. We enjoyed the guide in Venice so much we scheduled another afternoon with him at Doges Palace. We also enjoyed the Path of the GODs hike in Amalfi, just beautiful and it was such a nice quiet way to enjoy that busy area! The only downside of the whole trip was we had some traffic getting to Pompeii and we had a very rushed tour there. We would have enjoyed more time there. It was helpful having the phone and all the drivers were helpful to, happy rearrange our days to fit our needs.
Thank you for putting together such an amazing tour, it was perfect for us, and we would not have had such a special vacation without your help!
Jeff took more than 7000 photos! He is working through the, now and I’ll be happy to share them with you on our website when he gets them finished. Also, I’d be happy to serve as a reference or write a guest blog for you because we were so happy with our trip!
We have a few other trips coming up first, but I’m thinking Milan, Florence and the north countryside for our next visit to Italy! And now I know just who to help plan it! Grazie!
