Our trip was truly amazing. I am very pleased with the services you provided. Starting with Venice, the tour guide you provided, Monica, was excellent. Her knowledge of the area and the history was really outstanding. What an enchanted place Venice is. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and close to the local attractions. The group tour to Murano, Burano and Torcello was good, but hard to do in one day. On to Florence where again the guide, Ana Maria I believe, was very knowledgeable and most accommodating. The accommodations were adequate but not in the best of condition. The trip to Cinque Terre was okay. Group tours are not really my thing but in an effort to keep the budget in line it was nice. On to Rome where the accommodations were very nice. Well centered and close to the attractions. The Coliseum was amazing. Again, the group tour was small and the guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and passionate of her subject. The Vatican was very crowded with being on a Monday and with a Pilgrimage taking place. I wish we could have spent more time in Rome as there is a lot to take in. The tour of Pompeii was a pleasant surprise. The tour guide was out of this world excellent. Her knowledge of the site was truly remarkable. On to Positano. What a jewel of a setting. It was a very relaxing for us. The Poseidon was beautiful. The room was very nice with a great view from the balcony. The trip to Capri was a little disappointing as we were unable to go to the Grottos. We did take the lift to the ?? Mountain top and were treated to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. We had great food, great drink, lots of laughs about the walking we did. The transfers were very nice and the drivers all very professional. The trains were comfortable, clean and fast! All in all, a very beautiful experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. You have a beautiful country and the history is remarkable. I told my wife I felt as if we were in the cradle of modern civilization. The contributions made by the Italian people formed much of the world as we know it today.
