“Matteo,
Just catching up on “reality” after a wonderful 2 weeks in Italy. Thanks to your expertise, we all had a great experience. The guides and drivers were all punctual, congenial and very knowledgeable- The hotels were as advertised and the staffs very accommodating. We especially enjoyed the cooking class in Rome, the wine tastings (especially in Chianti) and the “Path of the Gods” along the coast. Although I thought biking in Chianti was fantastic, it was a little too much for my daughter who is more a runner and not so much a bike enthusiast; however, Marco Antonio was very sympathetic and after a great lunch including wine, no one could complain.
The only criticism I have (which I will only share with you) is that there was no available transportation in Montalcino. Although walking is never an issue with my family, the road from the hotel to the town is winding and narrow and with inclement weather and a Ferrari road rally the day we were there, the walk was less than enjoyable. If I had known that this would be the situation, I might have rented a car, even for just the day.
Again, a great experience in a great country. Looking forward to a return visit and I would certainly use your services again and would highly recommend your company to others.
My daughter is the “official” family photographer and when she returns from her trip from the Bahama Islands (which she began the day after we returned), I will have her send you some photos.
Grazie mille,
Phil Silverstone”
